There is always a time when i walk into the grocery store and some guy always says the same exact thing: "smile, it aint that bad."
I understand your concern to strike up a conversation, but honestly, dont you think if i had a reason to smile -
I definitely would..
.. & for some odd reason, i have a feeling that someone will say it to me again. I dont want to seem rude to them but i guess my silence gives off that impression, just as much as me saying something...anything.
Have you ever went to a gas station and noticed how you have the same group of people as you did when you walked in your highschool cafeteria?
i mean, seriously, (no offense) -
you have the posers, the gangsters, the druggies, emos, hispanics and the rockers...
Its like this everytime i go to the gas station.
i mean you can just tell when there is a poser standing right in front of you.
He has his pants sagging, his skin just as bright as his socks, and his car music really loud & then just when you thought he was going to fool you-
He opens his mouth and says super properly with a squealy voice: "shut up, before i hit your bitch ass."
Versus (Shut tha fuck up, fo' i hit-chyo bitch asss).
Wow! I was like WTF, get the fuck outta here, you gotta be kidding me!
Just when i thought i was the only one seeing this, a group of african american men all voiced their opinions in the most hilarious way.
The caucasian kid changed his voice so quick, the next thing i see is a bunch of scandolous, ratchet bitches with their helmet hair on (yes, i said it), started running over to the kid like he just pulled out stacks of money out of his pocket.
And to only make things worse, the caucasian cashier guy inside the store felt so embarrased, he walked off and said, "no wonda why these bitches dont like me bruh, cuz this bo bo tha fool muthafucka came up here being as plastic as nicki minaj barbie doll wanna be bitch ass..they dont like the real white boys! fuck this shit! I quit!"
So i stood there for a second, trying to register everything that had just happened. And then it hit me-
Now this is something to smile about. Other people might not get it, but if you analyze it too much- it will slip right through your fingers.
The poser came up to the gas station just to make a seen, the cashier got embarrased by the posers actions and the cashier quit his job because his pride is higher than most.
African americans are killing each other over bullshit everyday and the ones who still have pride, are embarrased by them.
It makes perfect sense, because i thought i was the only one to see these things -
These are the things that make me smile & they only happen every once in a while.
We have got to do better...
